Every time we visited Norway we fantasized about running a guesthouse somewhere
near Rondane but the vast changes that needed to be made in order to realize it
seemed an insurmountable obstacle. But in 2010 we came to a decision and did
what we had always wanted to do: emigrate to Norway, make great walks there, go
cross-country skiing and, above all, enjoy nature. And we want others to share all this
with us.
Besides our work in and around Pensjonat Fjelltun we have regular jobs. Marianne
(46) used to be a teacher of Dutch at a secondary school in Zoetermeer. She now
works as a teacher at Sollia Skole. José (40) used to work as a controller.
Today she is a financial assistant at Koppang municipality.
